Factions

There are currently no factions in Silver Cliffs, but we are always welcome to new factions gathering! Factions are player made groups that may or may not go against the realm's interests. Factions might be a specialized group of pirates, assassins, fae folk fighting to defend the wild spaces, a black market group, etc. The rules to creating a faction are as follows:

• Putting in the IC work to collect members for a cause.

• Having at least 4 unique characters played by different players to join the group.

• Planning a purpose for the group, a name, ideas for events, etc.

Characters can formally join one faction, though may be an honorary member of a second faction. For HUD purposes, however, there may only be one official faction joined per character.

Note: Factions must have 3/4s of the required player base be active (on sim and engaging other players in RP at least 5-10 hours a week) to hold on to their official status. Factions with less than this may be removed from the website and HUD.
